Lead warehouse-floor work supporting customer orders and materials needed for production.
Support the Logistics and Supply Chain team at Village Farms International.
Floor leadership and compliance
- Work on the floor for the full shift, translating and delegating supervisor-assigned tasks and keeping the team on schedule.
- Verify task completion and correct product and lot handling before hand-off; flag safety, quality, or equipment issues promptly.
- Enforce GMP practices for gowning, hygiene, lot and SKU handling, and PPE.
- Train new team members and act as a bilingual link between supervisors and a multilingual floor team.
Distribution and fulfillment
- Lead picking of retail and wholesale orders to meet volume and shipping deadlines.
- Pick and stage materials for production at D3 and provide updates on distribution-floor status.
- Perform other duties and support evolving business priorities as assigned.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of warehouse, production, or logistics experience; regulated GMP or cannabis experience is ideal.
- Prior experience directing or training workers is an asset.
- Bilingual English and a second language relevant to the floor team is strongly preferred.
