Team Lead Pharmacy Technician

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED. A minimum of two years’ pharmacy technician experience required. One year prior Mayo Pharmacy Technician II experience preferred. Completes continuing education necessary for maintenance of certification. Knowledge of pharmacy and medical terminology with ability to read and interpret physician prescriptions/orders. Demonstrated verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced computer skills. Technicians must comply with all applicable institutional policies and AZ State Board of Pharmacy Scope of Practice guidelines, procedures, and regulations.
• License/Registration: Current Pharmacy Technician certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Current Pharmacy Technician certification/licensure by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy. Must successfully complete and maintain National Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination.
