Team Lead HSE for an offshore PMC project based in Abu Dhabi.
Applicants must have offshore experience and the right to work in the UAE.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering in a relevant discipline from an accredited university.
- 15–18+ years of oil and gas HSE experience, including 5–8+ years in offshore leadership roles.
- Mandatory offshore certifications such as BOSIET or HUET and NEBOSH IGC or equivalent.
- Must have managed HSE activities for offshore oil and gas construction.
- Proven HSE management experience on mega EPC projects, shutdowns, and brownfield upgrades.
- PMC experience is preferred; ADNOC Offshore project experience in a similar role is an added advantage.
- Offshore commissioning experience is requested.
Responsibilities
- Lead HSE planning and execution across artificial islands, platforms, and subsea systems.
- Develop HSE policies, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations; track corrective actions to closure.
- Coordinate with clients, regulators, and EPC contractors on project HSE goals.
- Mentor and supervise HSE officers and engineers and promote a proactive safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC and international standards, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA, and NEBOSH.
