Role overview

The Talent Resourcing Manager ensures the hotel attracts, identifies, and secures talent for current and future business needs.

The role combines workforce planning with hands-on recruitment, sourcing, employer branding, candidate engagement, and recruitment-process improvement.

The role works closely with HR leadership and department heads to build pipelines, advise on market conditions, and support a strong candidate experience.

Recruitment and workforce planning

  • Develop and implement a talent-resourcing strategy aligned with business priorities and workforce needs.
  • Partner with HR leaders and department heads on hiring needs, workforce planning, and manpower requirements.
  • Build proactive pipelines for critical, high-volume, and hard-to-fill roles and maintain talent pools for recurring needs.
  • Provide market intelligence on talent availability, salary expectations, competitor activity, and recruitment trends.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for assigned vacancies and agree role requirements, candidate profiles, and selection criteria with hiring managers.
  • Source through careers pages, professional networks, social media, recruitment platforms, databases, referrals, agencies, and direct sourcing.
  • Conduct screening, interviews, assessments, and selection activities; support fair, consistent, objective candidate evaluation.
  • Manage offers and negotiations within approved salary structures and hotel guidelines.
  • Improve recruitment efficiency, quality, and time-to-fill; maintain accurate documentation, approvals, records, and candidate confidentiality.

Talent attraction and candidate experience

  • Develop employer branding and recruitment campaigns and position the hotel as an employer of choice in local and international hospitality markets.
  • Use digital channels to showcase the hotel's culture, colleagues, career opportunities, and employee experience.
  • Coordinate recruitment materials, job advertisements, career events, and talent campaigns.
  • Maintain clear, timely candidate communication and make recruitment processes organized, efficient, and respectful of candidates' time.
  • Gather candidate feedback, improve the recruitment experience, and represent the employer brand throughout the candidate journey.

Governance, analytics, and leadership

  • Ensure recruitment complies with IHG policies, hotel procedures, approved manpower plans, and applicable local regulations.
  • Coordinate employment documentation, background checks, references, medical requirements, and onboarding with relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor recruitment KPIs, including vacancies, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline, offer acceptance, and quality of hire; report findings to leadership.
  • Evaluate recruitment channels and agency return on investment, benchmark performance, and use data to improve sourcing and workforce planning.
  • Advise operational leaders, challenge requirements constructively, and coach hiring managers on interviewing, assessment, and selection.
  • Coordinate recruitment priorities, support recruitment-to-onboarding handoffs, and lead, coach, and develop resourcing colleagues where applicable.

Candidate profile

  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Talent Resourcing, or HR, preferably in a large hotel or hospitality organization.
  • Previous manager-level or senior recruitment experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality recruitment and local and international talent markets.
  • Demonstrated experience in proactive sourcing, market mapping, talent pipelining, and direct recruitment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influence, and advisory skills with senior operational leaders.
  • Excellent interviewing and candidate-assessment skills.
  • Employer branding and recruitment marketing experience is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment technology, applicant tracking systems, social media sourcing, and digital recruitment platforms.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to translate workforce needs into effective recruitment strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using recruitment data and KPIs; highly organized with ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent command of English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • A degree or qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
