Role overview

Strategic talent acquisition role advising business leaders and supporting hiring across Canada.

The role can be based in Laval, Longueuil, Québec City, or Ottawa.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders on workforce needs and strategic hiring plans.
  • Lead recruitment from workforce planning through offer acceptance.
  • Develop proactive sourcing and executive search strategies for specialized and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Build talent pipelines across disciplines and regions.
  • Provide labour market intelligence and hiring recommendations.
  • Collaborate with HR partners and centres of excellence.
  • Support employer branding and continuous improvement.
  • Use recruitment metrics and market insights to optimize hiring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; CHRP designation is an asset.
  • 5–7 years of Talent Acquisition, Executive Search, or Strategic Recruitment experience.
  • Spoken and written French and English are required.
  • Experience supporting multiple business units or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Expertise in proactive sourcing, headhunting, and relationship management.
  • Business acumen and ability to influence and advise leaders.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and other recruitment technologies.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
