T24 Developer

Job purpose

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain T24 Loans and Deposits; implement business-driven enhancements and customizations.
• Integrate T24 with other banking systems, external interfaces, and third-party tools; collaborate with functional teams on technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot module, performance, system-error, and data-consistency issues; perform unit and integration testing.
• Meet security and regulatory requirements; support production systems with issue resolution, patching, and performance tuning.
• Assist with legacy data migration; document technical designs, configurations, and customization procedures.
• Stay current on T24 releases and financial-industry trends.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years as a T24 Developer or similar, with Loans and Deposits experience in a banking environment.
• Strong hands-on Temenos T24 experience and T24 programming experience, including R11, T24 Java, JBASE, and Unix/Linux scripting.
• Banking and financial-services knowledge, including loan products, deposit accounts, AML, KYC, and compliance.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, debugging, and implementing, customizing, and supporting T24 in production.
• Familiarity with API integration, data migration, third-party interfaces, T24 architecture and configuration, TAFJ, JPA, REST APIs, and batch processing.
• Agile or Waterfall methodologies and Git or SVN are noted as areas of familiarity.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, organizational, and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
