Typical responsibilities

• Define and manage system requirements throughout the product lifecycle; perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability.
• Support system architecture and design, and develop system specifications and technical documentation.
• Coordinate work across software, hardware, electrical, mechanical, and test teams.
• Support system integration, verification, and validation activities; conduct risk assessments and trade studies.
• Support customer requirements reviews and technical meetings, and manage complex technical problems across multidisciplinary teams.
• Support products from concept through deployment and sustainment.

Desired qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related technical discipline is desired.
• Three or more years of Systems Engineering experience and experience in complex multidisciplinary engineering environments are desired.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes, technical requirements, and system documentation is desired.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities are desired.
• Requirements tools such as DOORS, DOORS Next, or Jama; MBSE, SysML, UML, Enterprise Architect, V&V, integration testing, functional analysis, risk management, reliability engineering, safety-critical systems, engineering standards, Agile, and configuration management are listed as assets.
• Reliability Status, Secret, or Top Secret clearance is listed as an asset.
