Systems Analyst supporting integration initiatives and system interface design.
Key responsibilities
- Gather and document business, functional, and non-functional integration requirements.
- Prepare API specifications, interface documents, process flows, data mappings, and integration designs.
- Coordinate with business teams, Product Owners, architects, and developers on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Assess upstream and downstream impacts of integrations, enhancements, and platform changes.
- Support API, messaging, event-streaming, and middleware solution design.
- Define data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation requirements.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production readiness.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, support root cause analysis, and ensure governance, security, and architecture compliance.
Required experience and knowledge
- 5–8 years as a System Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Integration Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, microservices, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with platforms such as TIBCO, MuleSoft, Kafka, API Gateway, or similar.
- Understanding of core banking; experience in digital banking, payments, channels, or core banking transformation.
- Knowledge of data mapping, XML, JSON, REST APIs, and system interface design.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or OCI and Agile delivery is noted.
Required skills
- Oracle Database, WebLogic, and REST/SOAP/API skills.
- Strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
