Experience and qualifications

• At least 5 years of IT support technical experience and at least 3 years as a security systems engineer.
• The security systems experience must include video surveillance, access control, public address, or intercom systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or graduation from a technical school.
• Enterprise video surveillance experience with systems such as Milestone, Genetec, Axxonsoft, or Axis.
• Enterprise access control experience with systems such as Dormakaba, Salto, Lenel, Idemia/Morpho, Suprema, or HID.
• Public address and intercom experience with systems such as Bosch, Commend, Zenitel, or Aiphone.
• In-depth knowledge of server operating systems and hardware; strong understanding of IP-based security platforms, network infrastructure, and TCP/IP.
• Ability to read technical manuals and understand network hardware, software, and processes; relevant certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain video surveillance, access control, public address, intercom, and other security systems.
• Administer and support installation of security systems hosted in Windows and Linux environments.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address performance issues.
• Prepare technical processes, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and training modules.
• Coordinate with IT Security and Networking teams on data protection, system updates, and security, cumulative, and firmware updates.
• Maintain detailed inventories of systems, software and firmware versions, build numbers, and revision dates.
• Assist Operations and Project teams with planning, design, upgrades, migrations, and ordering devices, licenses, and installation prerequisites.
• Monitor maintenance contracts, product lifecycle and end-of-support dates, software subscriptions, and support contracts.
