System Integration & Test Engineer (45560)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate software modules, hardware components , and external interfaces into a cohesive end‑to‑end system.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand system interfaces, data flows, and dependencies .
• Develop and document integration plans and system configuration baselines .
• Develop, document, and execute test strategies, plans, and procedures for functional, performance, regression, and acceptance testing.
• Execute verification and validation activities for subcontractor‑provided system components within tight timelines.
• Evolve and maintain existing end‑to‑end test scenarios.
• Document defects , analyze root causes, and coordinate remediation with engineering teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience understanding principles of system architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in executing system tests and managing system configurations.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience in system architecture for C4I systems.
• Proactive approach to system verification and defect resolution.
• Experience in testing and profiling OpenAPI-based interfaces.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with virtual machines (KVM, VMware, Nutanix)
• Experience with computer networks (routing, switching, vlans, etc.)
