The Sustainability Manager is a part-time role developing and implementing strategies that support ANBCB's mission and long-term impact.
The role is based in Dubai and is hybrid, with flexibility for some work from home.
Responsibilities
- Assess environmental and social impacts of organizational activities; coordinate initiatives and align programs with global sustainable development frameworks.
- Prepare sustainability reports, track key performance indicators, and advise leadership on responsible operations and partnerships.
- Engage stakeholders, build awareness of sustainability goals, and collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate sustainability into projects and events.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in corporate sustainability and sustainable development, with the ability to design and guide strategies.
- Proficiency in sustainability reporting, data gathering, report preparation, and communicating performance metrics.
- Analytical ability to evaluate sustainability risks, opportunities, and impacts across programs and operations.
- Communication skills for stakeholder engagement, documentation, and presenting findings to leadership and partners.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor's or master's degree in sustainability, environmental studies, public policy, business, or a related field.
- International or nonprofit organization experience is preferred, especially in science, healthcare, or research-focused environments.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across cultures and disciplines.
- Familiarity with global sustainability standards and frameworks, including SDGs and ESG principles, is highly beneficial.
