Role Description
- Develop and implement sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) strategies aligned with company goals
- Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact, improve resource efficiency, and support sustainable growth
- Monitor and report on sustainability metrics such as carbon footprint, energy usage, waste management, and water consumption
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and corporate policies
- Lead sustainability initiatives including carbon reduction, circular economy, and green operations programs
- Collaborate with internal departments (operations, supply chain, finance, HR) to integrate sustainability into business processes
- Prepare ESG reports, sustainability disclosures, and stakeholder communications
- Conduct sustainability assessments, audits, and impact analyses
- Engage with external stakeholders including regulators, partners, and NGOs on sustainability initiatives
- Support sustainable procurement and responsible sourcing practices
- Drive awareness and training programs to promote sustainability culture within the organization
- Track industry trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability and ESG
- Support certifications and frameworks such as ISO 14001, GRI, or other sustainability standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 4–10+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental management, or corporate responsibility roles
- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, ESG reporting, and environmental regulations
- Experience with carbon accounting, lifecycle analysis, or environmental impact assessments is an advantage
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience preparing sustainability reports and disclosures (GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.)
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive organizational change
- Knowledge of sustainable supply chain and procurement practices
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Passion for sustainability and environmental impact
- Experience in industries such as manufacturing, energy, retail, or corporate sectors is preferred
