Survey and setting-out duties

• Lead site surveying and setting-out verification; supervise Parsons' survey team and review contractor survey work.
• Verify control points, benchmarks, reference coordinates, project datum, and grid system.
• Check setting-out for roads, utilities, structures, hardscape, landscape, and other works; conduct independent checks against drawings and tolerances.
• Review survey reports, layout drawings, as-built surveys, and topographic surveys; identify drawing/site discrepancies and support resolution.
• Coordinate with discipline engineers to manage interfaces and avoid clashes.
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment, and organize survey data, field notes, and as-built records.
• Support earthwork quantities and measurements; contribute survey advice in meetings and support preparation of handover records.
• Follow HSE requirements, safe work practices, and Parsons quality procedures.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Land or engineering surveying experience on large-scale infrastructure, public realm, or urban development projects, including several years in a senior or lead surveyor role.
• Strong proficiency with total stations, GPS/GNSS, digital levels, and survey data processing tools.

Desired skills and experience

• Understanding of surveying principles, coordinate systems, leveling, and setting-out for civil, structural, and landscape works.
• Construction supervision experience verifying contractor setting-out and as-built data; ability to interpret engineering, architectural, and utility drawings.
• Attention to detail, analytical and record-keeping skills, and effective communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• KSA or GCC experience is preferred.
