Supply Chain Intern (Tamheer Program)

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with freight forwarders and logistics partners; monitor shipments and follow up on potential delays.
• Support transportation cost analysis and identify operational efficiency opportunities.
• Map and review supply chain processes and help implement new tools, systems, and operational initiatives.
• Analyze and report KPIs; evaluate supplier performance against agreed service levels.
• Document and communicate operational requirements to external partners and participate in review meetings with logistics providers and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze sales, inventory, and logistics data; support demand planning and forecasting and monitor inventory levels and product availability.

Qualifications and requirements

• Must be eligible for the Tamheer Program and not registered in GOSI for the past six months.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
• Basic understanding of supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Basic knowledge of forecasting fundamentals, inventory optimization concepts, and supply chain KPIs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Eagerness to learn and develop a career in Supply Chain and Logistics.
• Fluent in English.
