Role Overview

Strategic Partnership and Financial Control

• Partner with the General Manager on strategy, financial analysis, projections, commercial agreements, and cost/revenue recommendations.
• Assess performance against budgets and long-term strategy; recommend cost reduction, profit improvement, and structural changes.
• Lead financial aspects of transformation initiatives and new business opportunities.
• Develop budgets, business models, scenarios, and risk responses with business and marketing teams in MEA and Europe.
• Oversee regional P&L, balance sheet, cash, financial plans, forecasts, annual budgets, and reporting integrity.
• Explain assumptions and variances, harmonize controlling processes across MEA and Europe, and identify cost optimization opportunities.

Reporting and Team Leadership

• Lead detailed reporting packages with historical and budget comparisons and qualitative commentary.
• Prepare and present budget exercises, business reviews, and pre-board materials; communicate regional updates and optimization opportunities to HQ financial leadership and the Global CFO.
• Lead and develop a Finance Controlling team based in Paris, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia.
• Collaborate with MAKE UP FOR EVER teams in MEA and Europe and Central Finance and PCDO Finance teams.

Profile

• Master’s degree in finance and controlling and at least 10 years of professional experience in finance and controlling are required.
• Previous Middle East and/or cosmetics or luxury industry experience is a strong advantage.
• Very proficient MS Office use; fluent English and French. Arabic is advantageous but not compulsory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration, transparency, and business-partner mindset.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient knowledge of financial statements; ERP and other finance reporting tools are appreciated.
