Fruit & Vegetable Department

• Manage fresh produce operations and merchandising.
• Ensure product freshness, quality standards, stock rotation, and wastage control.
• Monitor department sales and product availability.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure proper storage of produce.
• Lead department staff and maintain attractive displays to maximize sales.

Grocery Department

• Supervise grocery and FMCG sections.
• Ensure proper stock replenishment, merchandising, and promotional execution.
• Monitor inventory levels and department performance.
• Coordinate stock counts and inventory audits.
• Support sales growth through effective product availability and promotions.

Department Store

• Oversee household, personal care, and general merchandise categories.
• Manage product displays, inventory control, and team performance.
• Ensure excellent presentation standards and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor stock availability and replenishment activities.
• Support department sales growth through effective merchandising.

Store & Department Operations

• Supervise daily operations within the assigned department.
• Ensure products are properly displayed, priced, labelled, and stocked.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
• Minimize shrinkage, wastage, and stock discrepancies.

Team Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and supervise departmental staff.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance guidance.
• Promote a positive and customer-focused work culture.

Customer Service Excellence

• Deliver exceptional customer service standards.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Support customers with product information and assistance.

Sales & Performance Management

• Support achievement of departmental sales targets.
• Monitor sales trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Execute promotional activities and merchandising initiatives.
• Prepare operational and performance reports for management review.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a supermarket, hypermarket, or retail environment.
• Experience in at least one of the following:

• Fruit & Vegetable Department

• Grocery Department

• Department Store / General Merchandise

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of merchandising, inventory control, and retail operations.
• Familiarity with POS systems and stock management processes.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
