Supermarket Manager – FMCG

About This Role

Job Summary:
The Supermarket Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the supermarket, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments, maintaining high customer service standards, managing staff, and achieving sales and profitability targets in the FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall daily operations of the supermarket.
• Supervise and coordinate all departments such as grocery, fresh food, non-food, and cashier sections.
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked, products are displayed properly, and stock rotation is followed.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and the warehouse to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure expiry checks are conducted regularly and minimize wastage or damaged stock.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and control operating costs.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and stock reports.
• Lead, motivate, and manage supermarket staff, including scheduling shifts and monitoring attendance.
• Conduct staff training and ensure employees follow company policies and customer service standards.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company regulations.
• Monitor cash handling, billing procedures, and daily closing activities.
• Coordinate with HR regarding recruitment, employee discipline, and performance evaluation.
• Maintain cleanliness and attractive merchandising throughout the store.
• Ensure promotional activities and offers are implemented correctly.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
