Role Overview
OCC is hiring a Summer 2027 seasonal intern for its Compliance Risk Solutions team.
The internship lasts 12 weeks and is open to actively enrolled undergraduate and graduate students.
Interns may work up to 40 hours per week, and overtime is not permitted.
Workplace
- The role follows a hybrid work program requiring work from an OCC office at least three days per week absent an approved exception.
- Tuesday and Wednesday are required in-office anchor days, with two additional remote days generally available to eligible employees.
- Remote work is generally expected to occur from the employee's state of residence.
Responsibilities
- Develop in the Archer platform across solutions supporting Controls Assurance and Risk Management.
- Assess the current state of PolicyTech and Apparity from a technical perspective.
- Document systems for governance, risk, and compliance tools.
Candidate Qualifications
- Be a rising senior or second-year graduate student graduating in December 2027 or May/August 2028.
- Be actively enrolled at a college or university.
- Have hands-on experience with at least one major low-code platform.
- Have experience with relational databases and business process automation or workflow engines.
- Know platform governance, security roles, and access control models.
- Have experience with platform-specific debugging and performance tuning tools.
- Have experience identifying and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
Desired Background
- Information Technology and Information Systems are desired majors.
- A high-level understanding of software development, change management, system administration, and quality assurance is desired.
- Low-code platform experience is preferred.

OCC is a clearing organization providing clearing and settlement services for options, futures, and securities lending transactions.
The Compliance Risk Solutions team is part of the Enterprise Technology Solutions department.
Compensation
