Role overview

IBM is hiring an Integration Expert within its SuccessFactors and HR Talent Technologies practice.

The role is available at Consultant, Senior Consultant, Managing Consultant, and Senior Managing Consultant levels.

Design and integrate HR technology landscapes for national and global clients across SuccessFactors, S/4HANA HCM, and related platforms.

Workplace and travel

  • Primarily remote role, considering candidates across Canada; occasional client-site attendance may be requested.
  • Candidates must be willing and able to travel up to 4 days a week based on client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements, interface architecture, technical design, issue resolution, and HR integration scope.
  • Plan implementations, gather requirements through workshops, and advise clients on leading practices.
  • Manage interface and integration development and coordinate offshore configuration teams.
  • Lead testing and deployment and coordinate post-go-live hypercare support.
  • Define integration architecture and system landscapes; drive operational improvements, develop business cases, and track outcomes.
  • Lead offshore teams, collaborate across IBM, provide technical leadership, build client relationships, and mentor junior team members.

Required expertise

  • At least 4 years of client-facing experience leading complex interface technical design and architecture and managing technical issues and risks.
  • Proven integration consulting experience on SAP SuccessFactors and HR transformation projects, including Core-Hybrid and Talent-Hybrid deployments.
  • Experience with BIB integrations to S/4HANA HCM and HR InfoPorter frameworks.
  • Hands-on SuccessFactors API and SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) experience developing and managing interfaces.
  • Strong proficiency in XML, OData, JavaScript, JSON, and RESTful and SOAP API integration.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 4 days a week for client requirements.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • French fluency and strong communication in bilingual project environments are preferred.
  • SAP ABAP, SAP Basis and Security, Employee Central, and SAP HCM experience are preferred.
  • SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or BizTalk experience is preferred.
  • S/4HANA HCM implementation experience and integration with UKG, ADP, WorkForce Software, Ceridian, PeopleSoft, Oracle, or SAP are preferred.
