Role overview

Technical delivery and operations

• Guide internal teams and customers on networking and wireless technologies.
• Diagnose complex multi-vendor networking and security issues and deploy and support network and security solutions.
• Deploy and support monitoring and management tools; prepare and update HLDs, LLDs, processes, and technical documentation.
• Support Sev-1 and major incidents, perform root cause analysis, and track corrective and preventive actions.
• Identify infrastructure improvements and evaluate automation, observability, and AI-driven network tools.
• Collaborate with global teams, OEMs, vendors, partners, and service providers; lead technical discussions.
• Train and mentor L1/L2 operations teams and serve as key point of contact for network project transitions and transformations.

Experience and technical qualifications

• 12–15+ years of hands-on enterprise experience across routing and switching, wireless, datacenter networking, and security; the description emphasizes Juniper/Mist.
• Multi-vendor implementation and operational experience, including Cisco, Aruba, or Juniper.
• Strong RF, wireless security, AVC, enterprise mobility, Cisco ISE, ACLs, VPN, and advanced security architecture experience.
• Datacenter protocol and fabric experience including BGP-Lite, VLAN, VxLAN, FCoE, TRILL, OTV, and IS-IS.
• Hands-on VMware, Hyper-V, and virtual networking experience; experience with datacenter consolidation, transformation, and migration.
• Cloud infrastructure, orchestration, hybrid networking, SDN, and NFV knowledge and experience.
• Practical automation experience with frameworks such as Python, Ansible, REST APIs, or Terraform.
• Network monitoring tool proficiency, including SolarWinds, DNAC, Prime, or Splunk; observability and AI/ML networking tools are also mentioned.
• Ability to work with global teams and lead technical discussions with customers and stakeholders.
