Student Extern

This externship is only available to students completing a required, for-credit program through an affiliated school.

Applicants must be referred by their academic institution.

Applications without a formal school referral will not be considered.

If you are currently enrolled in specific school/institution’s program that requires an externship for certificate/degree completion, this position is for you.

Students offer their time and talents in a manner that reflects the Sisters' of Mercy mission & values to complete the necessary hours, fulfilling program requirements

Volunteer responsibilities will vary depending on where you are placed.

This will be discussed when exploring opportunities with the Volunteer team.

• Must be enrolled in a Program/School
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must agree to a background check (for individuals 18 years of age or older)
• Must provide basic health information, including vaccination records (COVID Vaccine included)
