Structural Inspector (Site Supervision)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work at different phases against approved plans and building codes.
• Supervise site activities and contractor performance for safety and quality compliance.
• Record findings, prepare inspection and progress reports, and maintain site documentation.
• Identify structural deficiencies, hazards, or non-compliance and communicate findings.
• Coordinate corrective actions with engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Verify structural materials, workmanship, and installation procedures.
• Check concrete, steel, and other structural elements for quality.
• Guide site teams on structural requirements and inspection procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven construction-industry experience in structural inspection and site supervision.
• Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, structural engineering, construction methods, and building safety.
• Proficiency in inspection reports and technical documentation.
• Analytical judgment, problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with diverse teams.

Workplace

• Work location model is on-site.
