Structural Engineering Intern Qatar Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Engineering Intern to join our team in Doha, Qatar!

In this role, you will support Engineers and Designers in delivering coordinated structural designs on multidisciplinary projects, gaining exposure to real-world engineering workflows, tools, standards, and construction practices.

You will work closely with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to design development and technical documentation within a professional consulting environment.

Interns are encouraged not only to learn, but also to contribute to project outputs, engage with engineering teams, and develop their professional skills through mentorship, professional exposure on live projects, and networking opportunities.

What You ll Be Doing

  • Assisting Engineers with structural design layouts, basic calculations, and engineering drawings.
  • Helping prepare engineering deliverables, including plans, sections, diagrams, and simple reports under supervision.
  • Using CAD and other engineering software (as directed) to assist in preparing design documents and figures.
  • Collecting, organizing, and reviewing project data such as surveys, as-built records, site photos, vendor information, and technical specifications.
  • Updating drawings and documents based on redlines and markups from senior staff.
  • Supporting coordination between different disciplines by updating design information and tracking changes.
  • Assisting with technical documentation, presentations, and meeting materials, and following up on action items.
  • Learning and applying relevant standards, codes, and Parsons procedures as guided by senior staff.
