About This Role
Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D structural models using SP3D software for various industrial projects.
- Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations that meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to ensure integrated solutions and adherence to project timelines.
- Review and revise designs based on project feedback and changes in scope.
- Ensure that all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Participate in design reviews and present design concepts to clients and project teams.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural design technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in structural design using SP3D.
- Proficiency in other design software such as AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of structural codes and engineering principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
