Role Overview
Structural BIM Engineer role based in the UAE supporting structural modeling and project delivery.
The role focuses on structural BIM production, coordination, documentation, and team support.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop detailed structural models and drawings using Revit according to project specifications and industry standards.
- Integrate structural design elements into architectural and MEP models and support clash detection.
- Use BIM workflows to optimize structural designs for efficiency, constructability, and sustainability.
- Create parametric families, templates, and standards to streamline modeling processes.
- Conduct model reviews and identify and resolve conflicts between disciplines.
- Generate quantity take-offs, schedules, and other project documentation from BIM models.
- Coordinate BIM-related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on BIM and structural engineering trends, software developments, and best practices.
- Provide training and support to team members on BIM workflows and techniques.
General Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Four to seven years of postgraduate BIM experience.
- Project delivery experience.
- Immediate joining availability.
- At least four years of BIM experience is required.
- At least four years of Revit experience is required.
Workplace and Employment
- The position is full-time.
- Work is performed in person.
