About the company

Strategy and business development

• Assess market and merchant-community needs to support Acquiring strategy.
• Support growth, stability, and change across Enterprise and Government business.
• Monitor competitor offerings and payments and merchant-services trends; identify focus markets and segments.
• Identify income streams based on organizational strengths and plan execution with stakeholders and Finance business partners.
• Prepare business responses to regulators and schemes.
• Develop strategy papers for schemes and the UAE Banking Federation.
• Track value-added services and products against launch plans and objectives.
• Work with Product on roadmaps and winning client propositions.
• Lead analysis and risk planning for functional strategies aligned to business strategy.
• Review strategy and goals for strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities; recommend corrective actions.
• Support strategy implementation, communication, business plans, and business cases.
• Support acquisitions, joint ventures, and alliances; monitor ROI and benefits.

Analysis and reporting

• Deliver strategic planning materials and research-based analysis.
• Develop documentation for strategic clients, propositions, and opportunities.
• Analyze threats and opportunities that may affect the strategic plan.
• Capture Executive Committee and Board feedback in the Enterprise strategy plan.
• Review and report progress against the strategic plan at least quarterly.
• Own a quarterly performance and market intelligence report.
• Coordinate monthly operational review reporting aligned with the business plan and strategy.
• Validate performance data for accurate reporting and decision support.
• Manage development of strategic documents for organizational needs.
• Provide Enterprise inputs for periodic stock-market requirements, including quarterly guidance and annual reports.
