Pricing Analyst

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor fee adjustments both internally and from third parties.
• Communicate and monitor the technical implications and revenue impact of these changes.
• Support system change requests and testing systems for cost and revenue assurance.
• Help create and manage net revenue calculation models and dashboards.
• Develop market insights through existing data and competitor analysis.
• Perform large data extraction and synthesis from various sources to support pricing activities.
• Serve as contact point for all technical and non-technical pricing queries.
• Support the team in month-end activities.
• Support pricing governance with a fair value, customer-centric approach to pricing.
• Act as commercial lead for tender documentation and negotiations, supporting new tenders, contract renewals, and new income-generating opportunities.
• Deliver pricing training and maintain a pricing resource center.

Key Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data visualization, understanding of macros, and complex formulas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations for various business needs.
• Adept at problem solving with excellent analytical skills and systems to make sense of issues.
• Ability to work on own initiative and within tight timescales.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• 2+ years of card payment industry knowledge, such as scheme fees and interchange.
• Proficiency in data analysis with tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Degree qualified or relevant experience.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in banking, financial, or fintech segment.

Advantageous Skills

• Proficiency with SQL, Python, DAX, and Power BI is an advantage.
