Paywaz is seeking a small number of high-quality

Strategic Channel Partners / Merchant Acquisition Partners

to help introduce and onboard new retail, eCommerce merchants, cross-border businesses, platforms, and enterprise payment clients across the

United Arab Emirates and wider GCC market

.

This opportunity is well suited to experienced commercial operators, business development professionals, payments sales specialists, merchant services leaders, platform partnership professionals, and former team members from companies such as

Stripe, Adyen, Checkout.com, Network International, Amazon Payment Services, PayTabs, Telr, PayPal/Braintree, Airwallex, Shopify, and similar fintech, banking, merchant acquiring, or commerce infrastructure businesses

.

It is particularly relevant for individuals who understand merchant pain points, payment operations, cross-border commerce, ERP workflows, settlement friction, franchise operations, and the realities of modern commerce infrastructure across the UAE and regional GCC market.

The role

As a Strategic Channel Partner, you will help Paywaz identify, introduce, and support the onboarding of qualified merchants, platforms, and enterprise customers that are a strong fit for our payment and settlement infrastructure.

You will focus on opportunities across

eCommerce, cross-border commerce, enterprise payments, hospitality, retail, franchises, platforms, marketplaces, agencies, import/export businesses, and merchant-facing ecosystems

.

This is not a pure lead-generation role.

We are looking for partners who can help open the right doors, shape commercial conversations, support compliant engagement, and help drive qualified opportunities through to activation and live usage.

What you'll do

  • Introduce and help onboard qualified merchant, platform, and enterprise customers
  • Focus on eCommerce, cross-border, retail, hospitality, franchise, and enterprise payment opportunities
  • Open doors with merchants, platforms, agencies, finance leaders, operators, payment teams, and commercial decision-makers
  • Help drive activation and adoption, not simply top-of-funnel leads
  • Support commercial momentum with well-qualified opportunities that align with Paywaz’s infrastructure, compliance, and growth priorities
  • Help educate prospective merchants on payment cost reduction, faster settlement, improved cash flow, and modern stablecoin-enabled payment infrastructure

Our focus is not on building a large, high-volume sales force.

We are looking for a select number of capable commercial partners who can bring strong relationships, sound judgement, and high-quality opportunities across the UAE and wider GCC market.

Please note: this is a

contractor opportunity

, not a traditional salaried employment role.

Compensation

  • is based on commission, onboarding bounties, profit share, and potential equity participation.
  • It should not be viewed as a conventional employed position carrying fixed salary expectations.
  • Success in this role will depend on the quality of your network, your ability to originate and help activate the right opportunities, and the commercial outcomes delivered.
  • Partners are expected to operate professionally, transparently, and in alignment with Paywaz’s compliance requirements, including any applicable UAE, GCC, payments, stablecoin, virtual asset, data protection, and merchant onboarding considerations.
  • Ideal background
  • This role may be a strong fit if you have experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • eCommerce and merchant acquiring
  • PSPs, payment gateways, payment orchestration, or merchant services
  • Cross-border payments, remittances, treasury, or settlement workflows
  • Retail, hospitality, QSR, franchise, or multi-location merchant networks
  • ERP, invoicing, billing, accounting, or commerce infrastructure
  • Platform partnerships, channel sales, or strategic business development
  • Enterprise merchant onboarding and activation
  • Banking, fintech, acquiring, open banking, digital commerce, or payments infrastructure
  • UAE / GCC commercial networks across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, or Kuwait
