Storekeeper

Assist in handling of stores activities; receiving, storing, deliveries, coordinating stocks and maintain store activities and records.

· Responsible for raising requisition for general spares and items for the plant

· Update the Plant Engineer for requirement of specific machine spare parts

· Inspect and receive spares from suppliers as per PO.

· Accept or reject materials based on PO specifications

· Ensure efficient and Systematic storage of spares and other items

· Issuance of spares and other items as per the consent of Supervisor/Plant Engineer.

· Efficient control of issuance of consumable items

· Maintain stores records for incoming and outgoing material

· Prepare monthly report for diesel, tyres and straps.

· Maintain and monitor pigment and strap stock and update management from time to time.

· Update daily finished good stock status

· Update Plant Engineer/Plant Manager on the status of the store on a regular basis.

· Authorize the daily production and consumption data and forward it to Accounts.

· Communicate with other departments for smooth functioning of workshop

· Responsible for co-ordination with Dubai Municipality Inspectors for inspection and certification of finished goods.

· Conduct and co-ordinate internal lab test for finished goods.

· Co-ordinate with outside labs for testing of finished goods and arrange delivery of finished goods for testing.

· Receive invoice from suppliers against DO and verify it with PO amount.

· Update management on any issue not in line with company policy or good practice.

· Degree/Diploma in any discipline

· 2 to 3 years experience in stores of a manufacturing company

· Knowledge of computer

· Team player

· Good analytical skills

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

Good command over the English language (verbal and written)

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
