Overview

Responsible to ensure timely and cost effective dispatch of goods to customers.

Dispatch & Logistics

· Proper planning and scheduling of day to day delivery

· Ensure effective and timely dispatch of goods to customers for Abu Dhabi.

· Co-ordination between sales, accounts and production team.

· Achieve assigned dispatch targets

· Ensure optimum utilization of heavy vehicle drivers

· Responsible for logistics functions to ensure timely and cost effective deliveries.

· Tracking of vehicles in case of customer complaints or delays and ensure on time deliveries.

Documentation

· Prepares DOs, Gates Passes, vehicle passes, free zone gate pass etc

· Prepare monthly invoices to customers

· Record accurate despatch data on oracle and excel

· Responsible to send accurate despatch report to the management on a daily basis.

· Upkeep and maintain the dispatch records, POs etc

Planning & Cost Control

· Planning the delivery schedule keeping in mind the road timings/restrictions etc.

· Planning and allocation of trips to drivers according to priority and geographical locations of customers in a cost effective manner.

· Ensure availability of necessary documents with drivers to access specialized zones, free zones, military and government facilities etc

· Allocation of suitable vehicles for dispatch of goods to ensure optimum utilization.

Customer Relationship & Co-Ordination

· Providing efficient service to customers keeping in mind the customer requirement

· Day to day follow up with existing customers for orders

· Co-ordination with customers office and site for timely delivery

· Intervene and sort out any issues or hurdles during the delivery of goods, as and when required

· Maintain a healthy relationship with all customers

· Co-ordinate with all departments for timely delivery of goods

· Attends the customer’s complaints and reports to the management accordingly.

Other Tasks

· Responsible for quarterly physical stock verification with Accounts and Stores

· Update management on issues that is not in line with company policy/good practice.

· Bachelors Degree holder in any discipline

· 2-3 years in dispatch or logistics of a manufacturing company

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Knowledge of principles and practise of organization, records management, co-ordination

· Good at logistics and planning

· Ability to work well either alone or as part of team

· Ability to follow oral and written instructions

· Ability to communicate effectively

· Computer literate with advance knowledge of Oracle, MS office

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
