Store Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify materials, tools, machinery, and equipment as per delivery notes and purchase orders
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement (inward/outward) using registers or ERP systems
• Track and allocate **machinery, equipment, and vehicles project-wise**
• Monitor movement and usage of company vehicles and heavy equipment
• Maintain records of **vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance costs**
• Coordinate and ensure timely **vehicle registration renewals, RTA testing, insurance, and related documentation**
• Issue materials, tools, and safety equipment to site teams based on approved requests
• Ensure proper storage, tagging, and identification of materials and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections of tools, machinery, and vehicles
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and procurement team for requirements
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages
• Manage return of unused or recovered materials from sites
• Maintain records of fuel usage, spare parts, and maintenance schedules
• Ensure proper documentation for equipment and vehicle usage
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store/yard
• Follow all health, safety, and company policies
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and fleet reports

Materials & Equipment Typically Handled

• Demolition tools (jackhammers, breakers, cutters)
• Heavy machinery (excavators, skid loaders, cranes)
• Company vehicles (pickup trucks, transport vehicles)
• Safety equipment (PPE)
• Scrap and reusable materials
• Fuel, lubricants, and spare parts

Qualifications & Skills

• High school or diploma (preferred)
• Minimum **2–4 years of experience** in demolition, construction, or heavy equipment industry
• Experience in **inventory control and vehicle/machinery tracking is mandatory**
• Knowledge of **RTA procedures, vehicle renewals, and fleet coordination**
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel / ERP systems)
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to coordinate with site teams and drivers
• Physically fit and able to manage yard/store operations
