Store Accountant

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Review supplier invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes, and actual goods received.
• Ensure all system entries accurately match supplier invoices and supporting documents.
• Verify invoice pricing, VAT compliance, and other accounting requirements.
• Prepare goods received entries and purchase vouchers in the ERP system.
• Process sales invoices, sales returns, purchase returns, and credit memo transactions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding discrepancies, pending invoices, and item return issues.
• Follow up on issuance of supplier credit notes and reconciliation of statements of account.
• Maintain proper documentation by scanning, attaching, and filing all accounting support documents.
• Monitor inventory movements including returns, free-of-charge items, and stock adjustments.
• Prepare and review monthly inventory and accounts-related reports.
• Support month-end closing and accounts finalization activities.
• Ensure accurate consolidation and submission of invoices and accounting records.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance inventory control and reporting efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in store accounting, inventory accounting, or purchase accounting.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and accounting procedures.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and reconciliation skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
• Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
