Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support to instructors, and other FLETC personnel participating in practical exercise training.
• Issue weapons, radios, tactical gear, and related equipment for instructors and students to support training requirements.
• Actively review email communications/scheduling system and build class kits based on the approved training schedule
• Process used class kits for reuse or return to storage
• Ensure that all issued equipment is in good working condition prior to issuing and upon return.
• Night shift-specific duties include:
• Assembling ammunition bags based on ticketed requirements
• Restocking shelves with training gear and ammunition
• Recharging all batteries (flashlights, radios, cameras)
• Conducting an end-of-shift inventory validation
• Required Qualifications and Experience
• Candidates must be US Citizens with clearance eligibility, the ability to pass a background check/drug screen, and a clean driving record;
• Effective communication, listening, and customer service skills;
• Excellent organization skills;
• Computer Skills – understanding of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel spread sheets; and
• Work experience handling firearms is a big plus
• Physical Demands
• Must have the ability to perform tasks consisting of, but not limited to, heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and operating required equipment, and office work which includes frequent administrative record keeping and documentation.

• Pay Rate: $20.64 - $26.19/hour depending on role, experience, and benefits selected
• Working Hours: Shift coverage hours will be morning shift (6:00am to 2:30pm) or afternoon shift (2:30pm to 10:00pm), Monday through Friday (anticipate 40 hours per week).
