Oversee daily stewarding operations at Raffles & Fairmont Doha.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across kitchens, restaurants, and back-of-house areas while supporting efficient kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily stewarding work and assign tasks to team members.
- Oversee cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, and tableware.
- Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety requirements.
- Train, coach, and evaluate stewarding staff; monitor productivity and operational standards.
- Maintain supplies and equipment inventory, and manage waste and recycling procedures.
- Coordinate with culinary and food and beverage teams; report equipment issues and follow up on repairs.
Qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Stewarding or kitchen operations experience is sought; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, HACCP principles, and health regulations.
- Leadership, team management, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office; flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
