Overview
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Steward to support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, washing utensils, and ensuring hygiene standards are followed at all times.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in keeping the kitchen organized and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, floors, walls, and storage spaces
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain garbage areas
- Assist in basic food preparation when required
- Ensure all cleaning chemicals and equipment are used safely
- Follow hygiene and sanitation standards as per health regulations
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy hours
- Store cleaned items properly in designated areas
- Report any maintenance, breakage, or hygiene issues to the supervisor
- Ensure availability of cleaning supplies and inform when stock is low
