Required Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
  • C&G Level 2 and 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation, or C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2, or C&G 2330 Levels 2 & 3 / AM2
  • C&G 2391 or 2394 & 2395 Inspection and Testing Qualification
  • 18th Edition BS 7671 Wiring Regulations Certificate (current)
  • IPAF 3a & 3b (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) certification
  • PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association) certification
  • Required Experience & Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial electrical systems within corporate office environments
  • Proven electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in facilities management settings
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning plant
  • Working knowledge of building fabric with practical experience performing minor fabric repairs
  • Comprehensive understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application
  • Basic plumbing skills for minor repairs and maintenance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to liaise professionally with Vodafone stakeholders
  • Proficient in using smartphone applications and mobile technology for work order management
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong team collaboration skills with willingness to support colleagues and follow management direction
  • Professional presentation and customer-focused approach appropriate for corporate environment
  • Proactive mindset with ability to anticipate issues and act on own initiative
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and operational requirements
  • Working Arrangements:
  • This position requires flexibility in working hours to meet the operational needs of the Beckton Dickinson facility, including evening and weekend work when necessary. The role includes participation in an emergency call-out rota to ensure 24/7 building services support. Compensation has been structured to reflect these requirements.
