Staff Software Engineering Manager, Security Data Foundations

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers and TPMs responsible for Cloud CISO's product security-related data.
• Define and drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for the team, aligning with Cloud CISO's goals.
• Drive the adoption of advanced GenAI/LLM patterns to improve the accuracy and reliability of our data, and velocity of execution.
• Partner with Cloud CISO leadership, product security engineers, and operations teams to understand data needs, define requirements, and deliver robust solutions.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data quality, governance, and security.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java or Go. - 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management). - 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role. - 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role. - Experience designing and implementing distributed systems. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. - 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
