Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Requires 8 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- Requires 3 years of project leadership experience.
- Requires 3 years designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred: master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Preferred: mentoring experience and ability to build a high-standards team culture.
- Preferred: deep AI proficiency for ambiguous infrastructure issues.
- Preferred: ability to shape technical strategy and drive cross-functional consensus.

Responsibilities
- Improve services across design, deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Support pre-launch services through design consulting, platform development, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
- Monitor live-service availability, latency, and system health.
- Use automation to scale systems and improve reliability and velocity.
- Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
Compensation
- US compensation is $207,000 to $300,000 per year, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
