What you'll do
- Design and implement AI-powered tools for application development.
- Architect and build authentication, event tracking, application platform, and design system capabilities.
- Drive architecture and engineering standards at team and division level.
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices applications on Kubernetes.
- Improve scalability, reliability, and deployment speed.
- Work with product, ML, and engineering teams to improve developer experience and close technology gaps.
- Expand the product to more customers, domains, and global markets.
- Use AI tools, automation, and AI-driven insights to improve engineering workflows and decision-making.
- Operate at startup pace with a high degree of ownership.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building scalable, high-quality applications.
- Expertise in Java, JavaScript, and React, Angular, or Lit.
- Hands-on proficiency using AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar in daily development.
- Strong UI design, usability, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility knowledge.
- Experience with REST, JSON, AJAX, relational databases, event-driven architectures, and stateless architectures.
- Experience with functional programming and abstract data types.
- Experience driving architecture and engineering standards at team or division level.
- Strong critical thinking, AI integration experience, cross-functional collaboration, and product sense.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to keep learning and work outside a comfort zone.
- Backend Java experience is an added advantage.
- ServiceNow certification or development experience is a strong added advantage.
