Role overview
The Staff Software Engineer builds end-to-end features and works with product, design, marketing, and data science teams.
The team develops web applications and cloud services that deliver generative AI capabilities to customers.
Responsibilities
- Own product and technology initiatives from technical design and specification through development, testing, and launch.
- Deliver readable, high-quality software and collaborate across teams.
- Investigate, prototype, and deliver solutions throughout the stack.
- Drive best practices for modern web applications and cloud services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 12 years developing scalable, reliable, performant, and secure full-stack applications.
- Experience with Claude and other AI tools, frontend and backend technologies, a major cloud platform, relational and non-relational data stores, and pub/sub systems.
- Ability to turn high-level requirements into a detailed execution plan.
- Prior high-growth startup or technology company experience is a bonus.
Workplace
- Hybrid role reporting to the Bellevue office three days per week.
Compensation
- The stated base salary range is $210,000 to $240,000; actual compensation may vary by level, experience, and skills.
