Role Overview
The role is for a Senior Software Engineer II specializing in Java Spring Boot.
The position focuses on scalable backend systems, banking integrations, and UPI payment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices for UPI payment systems.
- Build RESTful APIs for banking and payment integrations.
- Gather and analyze requirements with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure service availability and scalability.
- Write documented code, conduct unit testing, and participate in code reviews.
- Optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Integrate NPCI, CBS, payment gateways, and other third-party services.
- Maintain security and compliance with banking regulations and UPI protocols.
Required Skills
- 4–5 years of hands-on Java experience, including Java 8 or later.
- Strong Spring Boot microservices experience and RESTful API integration skills.
- Understanding of UPI architecture, transaction flows, and NPCI standards.
- Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or another message broker.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
- Understanding of banking systems and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with UPI applications or payment gateways.
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 or similar financial transaction standards.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- B.E. or B.Tech in CSE/IT or a related field is listed under educational qualifications.

Salary
- Annual pay is ₹1,570,978.76 to ₹2,042,610.95.
