Sr Solution Architect

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth implementation and integration of technical and functional system requirements; lead fast, value-focused deployments using agile methodology.
• Serve as functional liaison between project teams and key customer executives; participate in customer and internal project meetings.
• Analyze business processes and user needs; lead diagnostics and design workshops and document solution designs.
• Write functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports, and screens aligned to customer objectives.
• Advise customers on industry practices, process methodology, and configuring Blue Yonder solutions to support business processes.
• Assist project managers with detailed plans and work breakdown structures; communicate product trends and business cases to product teams.
• Develop functional business-process test scripts and coordinate user acceptance testing and sign-off.
• Prepare and conduct customized end-user training; provide go-live and post-go-live support and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Follow up on support cases and communicate or escalate risks and issues affecting project schedule, scope, or budget.
• Complete assigned work to agreed timelines and quality standards; represent the solution area as a thought leader and identify incremental revenue opportunities.

Experience and skills

• 12–14 years of hands-on experience as a functional consultant providing supply chain solutions for customers is required.
• Experience with either Blue Yonder Demand & Fulfillment, Allocation, Enterprise Planning, Assortment, or Category Management.
• Working experience with AI/ML algorithms in supply chain; expert in developing or using AI/ML algorithms for statistical forecasting.
• Working experience with R and Python packages.
