Position Overview

Support NGA initiatives involving geospatial intelligence and FAA or public air traffic control insights.

Develop intelligence analysis products using modern software development practices and technology stacks.

The role may focus on AERO applications or a Geospatial Center of Excellence.

Position Facts

  • The position is direct hire and full-time.
  • Pay is USD 170,000 to USD 185,000 plus relocation assistance.
  • The role is based in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, or Springfield, Virginia.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a CI polygraph are required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, and work sponsorship is not available.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical field is required.
  • At least 10 years of enterprise software engineering or development experience is required.
  • Experience with full-stack applications, React.js, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Node.js, web services, microservices, RESTful APIs, and databases is required.
  • Experience with AWS and AWS tooling such as S3 is required.

Position Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using React.js and other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Develop Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Node.js backend services and RESTful APIs.
  • Architect scalable microservices and secure, reliable web services.
  • Own software delivery across design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Develop mission-critical intelligence analysis applications and database solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical and mission stakeholders on production-ready solutions.
  • Contribute to architecture, continuous improvement, and geospatial information systems.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Full-stack development across web services, databases, and frontend systems.
  • Geospatial information systems and geospatial data formats.
  • Intelligence analysis or other mission-focused applications.
  • Additional AWS or cloud development experience.
