Seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Dubai, UAE.
The role focuses on cost estimation, quotation preparation, supplier management, and project scheduling.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates, and project quotations.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and quality materials.
- Develop and monitor schedules using MS Project or Primavera.
- Manage budgets, cost tracking, and project financial reports.
- Review contract variations, claims, and progress payments.
- Coordinate with project management, engineering, clients, and suppliers.
- Maintain a current database of trusted suppliers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–10 years of quantity surveying and quotation preparation experience; UAE experience is preferred.
- Strong local supplier network and knowledge of UAE construction materials and pricing.
- Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera is mandatory.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and multitasking skills; able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
