Architect – Fit-Out & Renovations

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage design and technical coordination for fit-out and renovation projects.
• Meet clients, understand their requirements, present proposals, and explain scope, costs, and timelines.
• Prepare technical drawings, including layouts, construction details, and coordinated packages.
• Produce 3D renders of concepts, finishes, and material selections.
• Coordinate approval submissions for authorities, developers, and community bodies, including Emaar, DM, Nakheel, Trakhees, DSC, SOAMS, and DDA.
• Follow up on submissions, address review comments, and coordinate inspections and completion requirements.
• Prepare and review BOQs, specifications, and scope-of-work documents.
• Assess variation orders, quantities, cost implications, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams to follow approved drawings and project requirements.
• Visit sites, resolve technical issues, and support completion and handover.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in fit-out and renovation projects.
• Proven experience managing Dubai approvals, including submissions, revisions, and follow-ups.
• Strong client-facing skills and confidence leading meetings and managing expectations.
• Ability to independently produce accurate technical drawings and high-quality 3D renders, supported by a portfolio.
• Experience preparing BOQs, variation orders, and technical documentation.
• Strong written and spoken English for emails, presentations, and client discussions.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
