Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Own the integrated program delivery plan and translate commitments into milestones, deliverables, owners, and acceptance criteria.
- Align product introduction, qualification, supply readiness, production ramp, and applicable product transfers with customer schedules.
- Track commitments, drive corrective actions, and resolve priority or resource conflicts, escalating tradeoffs as needed.
- Lead weekly strategic-customer reviews covering delivery, risks, recovery plans, and decisions.
- Maintain program-health reporting covering backlog, delivery, qualification readiness, dependencies, and revenue at risk.
- Prepare executive updates; maintain risk registers and mitigation plans; communicate status consistently.
- Lead delivery-process improvements and coach team members in planning, risk management, and escalation.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
- 5 to 10 years of program or project management industry experience and a record of successful on-time delivery.
- Experience in technology program management, operations, or product management, including complex programs across functions, businesses, or geographies.
- Hardware development, qualification, and production-ramp experience; optical line system and coherent modem/pluggable experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong integrated planning, dependency management, risk assessment, and recovery execution capabilities.
- Ability to influence without direct authority, resolve competing priorities, and lead diverse cross-regional teams.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and coaching or mentoring team members.
- Executive presence and ability to explain customer impact and identify decisions needed.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including using data and analytics to support decisions.
- Sound judgment in ambiguous, high-pressure situations and a results-oriented approach.
Working Conditions
- Hybrid role; remote work is possible, but on-site work is preferred.
- Occasional overtime and flexible hours may be needed to coordinate with global cross-functional teams.
