Role overview

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy, launch scope, target users, success metrics, and expansion roadmaps; translate colleague and business needs into requirements and rollout plans.
• Evaluate vendor capabilities, platform features, connectors, integrations, workflows, roadmap items, and enterprise requests for value, feasibility, risk, supportability, and readiness.
• Make go/no-go recommendations for controlled release, broader rollout, or further review.
• Partner with platform administration, project management, engineering, security, and architecture on access, configuration, monitoring, controls, support, and launch readiness.
• Work with Go-to-Market partners on positioning, training inputs, launch communications, FAQs, customer success, and feedback.
• Define guardrails for acceptable use, data handling, human review, artifact management, connector access, and scale decisions.
• Analyze usage, adoption, retention, feedback, support patterns, and value signals; prepare leadership materials on value, readiness, investment, governance, and tradeoffs.
• Build repeatable practices to evaluate vendor capabilities, package tools for Amex, launch to cohorts, and measure adoption and value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management, platform product management, enterprise SaaS, AI products, collaboration tools, productivity platforms, developer tools, design tools, or equivalent experience.
• Experience launching, enabling, or scaling products in complex enterprise environments with technology, risk, compliance, legal, and business stakeholders.
• Strong product judgment, ability to convert ambiguous vendor capabilities into plans and recommendations, and clear communication for senior and non-technical audiences.
• Experience partnering with engineering, architecture, information security, legal, compliance, data governance, vendor, Go-to-Market, or platform operations teams.
• Comfort with incomplete information, strong documentation and escalation discipline, and ability to use data and feedback to evaluate adoption, value, fit, and scale readiness.
• Hands-on curiosity about AI tools; entrepreneurial and self-directed while attentive to governance, supportability, and enterprise risk.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
