The Senior Manager – Project Management & Digitization is responsible for leading strategic procurement projects and driving digital transformation with a strong focus on AI adoption within the Procurement and Contracts department.
This role oversees the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex procurement initiatives, leveraging advanced AI technologies to optimize processes, enhance decision-making, and deliver measurable value.
The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Procurement Digitization & Cost Effectiveness
- Provide support in overall procurement digitization efforts, assisting the team in researching, identifying, and implementing the latest AI technologies to achieve cost effectiveness and process efficiency within P&C.
• Gap Analysis & Solution Enhancement
- Perform gap analysis of legacy procurement solutions that impede efficiency.
- Propose AI-enhanced Procurement solutions and process enhancements in coordination with IT and relevant business units.
• AI-Driven Solution Identification & Implementation
- Identify advanced AI-driven digital solutions available in the market for automating or enhancing P&C services.
- Support the sourcing and implementation of appropriate solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic objectives.
- Research and evaluate market-leading AI and digital procurement technologies, preparing recommendations for management on suitable adoption.
• Project Management & Analytics
- Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reporting tools to effectively manage projects, leveraging AI-driven analytics for enhanced tracking and performance measurement.
- Support the Project Management & Digitization Lead in driving SteerCo meeting agendas, working closely with project owners to follow up on project updates, key risks/issues, and escalation, utilizing AI-based risk assessment tools where applicable.
• Documentation & Governance
- Lead and support project owners and teams in creating business requirement documents, change requests, scope of work, and other related documentation.
- Ensure all documentation and project activities are aligned with approved governance policies and guidelines for seamless project execution.
• Process Optimization & Adoption Reviews
- Identify suboptimal procurement processes by aggregating and analyzing data using AI and machine learning tools.
- Conduct adoption reviews with internal stakeholders and third-party consultants to recommend process improvements and drive efficiency.
• Implementation Coordination & Testing
- Coordinate the implementation of new AI and digital procurement solutions for P&C business users.Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and smoke tests to ensure procurement issues are resolved and processes are optimized.
• Post-Implementation Review & Enhancement
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and assessments of automated and AI-enabled procurement processes with relevant business users and stakeholders.
- Determine effectiveness and recommend further enhancements to maximize procurement value.
• Adoption Measurement & Improvement
- Measure and review digital and AI adoption rates within procurement, recommending actions to improve adoption against industry benchmarks..
• Business Case & Feasibility Studies
- Facilitate adoption of new AI and digital procurement capabilities by preparing business cases and conducting feasibility studies.
- Support the Project Management & Digitization Lead in identifying training and improvement programs for both short-term and long-term procurement digital transformation goals.
• Continuous Development & Advanced Analytics Integration
- Ensure continuous development activities under the direction of the Procurement Performance Analytics Lead.
- Focus on the integration of AI and advanced analytics into procurement project management practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
3-4 years of experience in project management, with significant exposure to AI-driven initiatives and procurement functions, preferably in the telecom sector.
