Strategy and business responsibilities

• Develop FM-domain strategy using automation, Spring Boot, microservices, and Java.
• Establish development baselines and robust code frameworks using Spring Boot, microservices, design patterns, and Java.
• Ensure application quality, delivery timeliness, and production stability.
• Apply technical expertise and innovation to transformational business improvements.
• Maintain strong client focus and awareness of business and operational impacts.

Processes, risk, and governance

• Define standards for application scale, resilience, and performance.
• Streamline development practices and maintain governance through training, advice, and support.
• Identify, assess, monitor, control, and mitigate risks for investment projects and application build-outs.
• Identify key issues and implement appropriate controls and measures.
• Support technology policy, enterprise risk, regulatory, portfolio, and business conduct governance.

Technical delivery and team management

• Perform technical design and development and follow agile processes for delivery.
• Coordinate complex integration activities with implementation teams and use ADO and Confluence as collaboration tools.
• Remove engineering team roadblocks and resolve risks or impediments affecting delivery.
• Build relationships and partner with internal and external teams.
• Work with product owners, process owners, and stakeholders to meet project objectives.

Skills and experience

• Java 11, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, problem solving, and microservices.
• Kibana, REST API, MQ/Solace integration, DevOps tools and processes.
• Database concepts, SQL, testing automation, and FM business domain knowledge.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Masters or MBA is good to have.
