Role overview

Penspen is recruiting a Senior Manager, Construction & Installation for an offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi.

The role leads subsea pipeline, cable, and structure construction and installation for offshore oil and gas projects.

Required qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a relevant discipline from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 20+ years of experience, including at least 8 to 10+ years of significant offshore project experience.
  • Proven offshore oil and gas subsea construction and installation experience.
  • Extensive pipeline and flowline installation experience, including campaigns, tie-ins, crossings, stabilization, trenching/burial, and associated subsea works.
  • Proven experience in subsea power/control cable and/or umbilical installation, pull-in, hang-off, protection, burial, and termination interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall subsea pipeline, cable, and structure installation and manage offshore construction activities.
  • Plan and execute installation within approved engineering requirements, safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate installation engineering, vessels, marine operations, ROV/survey, contractors, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning, and client interfaces.
  • Establish execution strategy, philosophy, installation sequence, campaign strategy, and construction priorities.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, marine, construction, and commissioning; lead readiness and offshore campaign planning.
  • Ensure required resources, vessels, equipment, personnel, and materials are available and resolve execution issues.
  • Lead offshore pipeline and flowline installation, including applicable S-lay, J-lay, reel-lay, or tow-out methods.
  • Lead subsea power/control cable and umbilical installation and oversee cable route preparation.

Preferred experience

  • PMC/EPC background is preferred.
  • Previous ADNOC Offshore experience is advantageous.
